Irish Owned, the Aphex Group has formed a partnership with DBC Scientific, a UK-based company offering scientific equipment service and sales, as well as laboratory asset management solutions to the global life sciences market.
The partnership will see DBC provide Aphex’s EHS Waste Management Software, Chemishield in the UK. Chemishield is a Software as a Service solution, that reduces the time, risk, and complexities associated with waste disposal and management for scientific and other facilities that handle physical and solid waste.
Chemishield presents significant value for life sciences companies that are facing ever-increasing challenges and mandates when it comes to EHS regulatory compliance. Through Chemishield’s powerful and insightful reporting features, users can easily identify gaps and trends in their current waste and EHS processes, thus delivering, cost and time efficiencies, reducing risks and delivering more environmentally friendly waste disposal and management.
Aphex’s Chemishield is already saving life sciences companies over $50,000 per year, per 100 users, and is being used by leading global life sciences companies such as Pfizer. Furthermore, the plug-and-play software has a built-in 2 step verification which eliminates the occurrence of potentially deadly accidents that can arise from the incorrect disposal of incompatible waste.
The partnership will see DBC act as a distribution and implementation partner for Chemishield focusing on life sciences companies and their operations in the UK.
